Ira Svobodová

Ira Svobodová (*1986) is a Czech painter whose work is inspired by architecture, light, and space. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, in the studios of Veronika Bromová and Michael Rittstein. In her paintings, geometric precision combines with subtle painterly sensitivity. Each painting is created through a carefully thought-out process that begins with a paper model and ends with layered painting. Her compositions appear as spatial constructions, as well as meditative landscapes. Ira Svobodová is represented in several collections, and her work is regularly presented in the Czech and international art scene. Her painting is quiet, precise, and full of light, connecting reason with intuition.
